We provide great selection of quality online substance abuse continuing education courses (online CEU) for chemial dependency counselors (LAC, LCDC, MAC, NCAC I, NCAC II, SAP). The NAADAC approved online alcohol and drug abuse continuing education courses are designed to provide the licensed substance abuse counelor with professional growth and knowledge refinement in the area of chemical dependency, while learning at his/her own pace. Our CEU courses are intended for those working in drug and alcohol treatment centers, detox centers, and other venues offering services to those with drug addiction and alcoholism. We offer the opportunity for the licensed chemical dependency counselor (LCDC) to earn the Continuing Education Units (CEU) needed to maintain licensure or certification at any time from anywhere you have access to the internet through our web-based addiction CEU programs.

Please check with your addiction or certification board if you are unsure about the policies related to online or home-study CEU Credit. Not all states/boards accept homestudy CEU hours without pre-approval status or may limit the number of hours accepted. Some boards may classify online activity as independent study CEU courses. We are pre-approved by NAADAC and some boards to provide continuing education credit. There is more information available by state licensing board on our Accreditations Page.

Question: So, how does taking continuing education online work?

Answer: Simply browse the online addiction CEU course catalog. Find the continuing education course(s) that interest you and click on the number of continuing education contact hours you would like to take (some selections only have more than one option for clock hours). You will be able to access all of the CE material needed to answer the post-test questions online via links our pages. You may want to load and print the CEU test while you review the material, then either print out or review the material in your browser (or listen or wath online). When you have completed the course, click on "Load Test" to take the addiction CEU post-text. Your post-test will be scored immediately by our servers and, if you pass, a CEU certificate request and payment form will appear. You must correctly answer 75% or more of the questions to receive CEU credit. You may take the continuing education test as many times as needed to achieve a passing score, demonstrating mastery of the material. Certificates are available immediately when you successfully completion the material and pay online, allowing for immediate substance abuse CEU credit. When you have successfully completed the post-test, you may then pay online or you may mail in payment via check or credit card.
