while learning at his/her own rate. We offer the opportunity for counselors to earn the Continuing Education hours needed to maintain license certification from the comfort, privacy and convenience of home or office through our web-based CEU programs.
Please check with your state counseling board if you are unsure about board policies
related to home-study or online CEU credit. Not all state counseling boards or certification organizations will accept CEU hours
without pre-approval, or may limit the number of continuing education hours that can be acquired online. Some counseling boards may classify online activity as independent study. There is more information available by state counselor licensing board on our Counseling Accreditations Page
Question: So, how does completing online continuing education work?
Answer: Just browse the
CEU course selections.
Find the counseling continuing education course(s) that interest you and click on the number of CEU credit clock hours you would like to take (some selections
have multiple options for clock hour units). You will be able to access all of the material needed to answer the mental health CEU post-test questions online via links our pages. You may choose to print out the material or review it in the browser. After you have reviewed the CEU material, click on "Test" to take the online CEU post-test. Your continuing education post-test will be scored immediately online and, if you pass, a CEU completion form will appear to request your certificate and submit payment. You must answer 75% or more of the questions correctly to qualify for the counseling CEU's. You may take the test as many times as needed to achieve a passing score. Continuing education certificates are usually emailed within 1 business day and are dated with day of successful completion of the C.E.U. material, allowing for Same Day CEU Credit in all cases. When you have successfully complete the test, you may then pay online or you may mail in payment.
