We are proud to provide a variety of quality continuing education online (CEU) programs for mental health and addiction professionals and nurses. The online programs are designed to provide the licensed healthcare professional (LMHC, LPC, LCDC, Social Work, Licensed Psychologist) with the opportunity for professional growth and refinement while learning at his/her own pace. We offer the opportunity for the behavioral health or chemical dependency practitioner to earn the Continuing Education Units (CEU) hours, or nurses the Continuing Medical Education (CME / CE) hours needed to maintain licensure at any time from the comfort, privacy and convenience of home or office through our web-based protocol.
Please check with your state regulatory board if you are unsure about the policies related to online or home-study CEU Credit. Not all states/boards will accept hours without pre-approval status or may limit the number of CEU's authorized or accredited. Some mental health boards may classify online activity as independent professional development. We are pre-approved by many behavioral health boards to provide CEU credit. Question: So, how does taking continuing education online work?
Answer: Simply browse the CEU course listings online. Find the continuing education course(s) that interest you and click on the view link to the right of the number of continuing education clock hours you would like to take (some selections only have more than one option for clock hours). You will be able to access all of the material needed to answer the post-test questions online via links our pages. You may either print out or review the material in your browser. You may want to load and print the CEU test before you begin and have it handy while you review the material. When you have completed the course, click on "Load Test" to take the online CEU exam. Your CEU post-test will be scored immediately by our servers and, if you pass, a form to request your certificate will appear. You must correctly answer 75% or more of the questions correctly to receive continuing education credit. You may take the CEU test as many times as needed to achieve a passing score, demonstrating mastery of the professional development material. Certificates are immediately available if you submit an online payment at the time of completion, otherwise they are generally available within 24 business hours.
