This course is designed for healthcare providers. Specifically, it is designed for Licensed Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Psychologists, Chemical Dependency Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Nurses, or any other healthcare provider that is likely to gain professionally from increased knowledge in the subject area. It is appropriate for any provider that is likely to come into contact with those dealing with issues related to the clinical topic in the course of practice.
Learning Objectives:
The objective of this course is to familiarize the learner with research on the nature, identification, and treatment
strategies regarding ADHD in adults. The course is intended to assist clinicians and others with
enhancing knowledge of the subject. It is appropriate for mental health clinicians and healthcare providers to be
familiar with the basic concepts related to ADHD since they are more likely than others to receive
