Specifically, it is designed for Social Workers, Psychologists, Chemical Dependency Counselors, Licensed Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Nurses, or any other healthcare provider that is likely to gain professionally from increased knowledge of dynamics between addicted and non-addicted individuals. It is appropriate for any provider that is likely to come into contact with those dealing with issues related to alcoholism in the course of clinical practice.

Learning Objectives:
The objective of this course is to familiarize the learner with a basic understanding of attachment and sexuality in relationships with alcoholics and sober alcoholics. It addresses some of the basic concepts that are important in dealing with the intimate aspects of life for someone in recovery from alcohol and outlines implications for working with partners of those in recovery in the same clinical areas.
