Specifically, it is designed for Licensed Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Psychologists, Chemical Dependency Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Nurses, or any other healthcare provider that is likely to gain professionally from increased knowledge in the subject area. It is appropriate for any provider that is likely to come into contact with those dealing with issues related to the clinical topic in the course of practice.
Learning Objectives:
The objective of this course is to familiarize the learner with research on the use of CBT techniques and approaches to the treatment of cocaine abuse/addiction. Strategies and approaches from the CBT domain are explored and foundations and rationales for many are explained in detail. This training does not constitute training in the techniques, but offers a helpful approach for those already trained the CBT techniques.
