The concept of victim blame and revictimization are examined. The concept of attribution and some measurement instruments specific to domestic violence attribution are explored. This material is relevant to the mental health worker because it helps facilitate a better understanding of what a victim of domestic abuse is likely to face following revelation of the violence.
